A fun little experiment - I made this free form, attaching the watermelon slice as a pocket on the front. The skirt was worked from the bottom up, with a button tab waistband around the center and adjustable straps.

Hook: 3.5 mm (E)
Yarn: Rowan Purelife Organic Wool, 00607 Onion
I’m pleased with the results of this sweater - pattern runs true to size and is reasonably easy to follow.
