Striped Dress

I love how this project came out. I've been making my way through the Make It Yourself library, a 12-volume craft collection packed with great patterns and ideas. This particular pattern is the cover feature for Volume. 6, and originally a knitting project. The pattern below is an adaptation for crochet, in a 3-6 month size. It's a simple pattern, and would be easy to adapt for larger sizes or different decorative treatments.

This is quite possibly the cutest crochet dress I have ever seen, I just saw it on ravelry yesterday and I think I'm going to start it today, i'll have to increase it a bit for my chunky 14 month old daughter. I love the true vintage feel, thank you for creating this pattern from the knitting one, I haven't quite figured out knitting yet.
